Our approach

Our goal at TBI MedSLP is to promote fairness in the profession and enhance patient outcomes. To do this, we take a holistic approach to the treatment of TBI patients and the SLPs who work with them by providing digital educational resources, support for survivors and practitioners, and offering presentations and webinars to healthcare staff.

Education

At TBI MedSLP, we firmly believe that every patient deserves the best possible treatment and care. As part of our mission, we provide educational programs and resources that empower speech pathologists and healthcare providers to enhance their skills and knowledge in the field of brain injury rehabilitation. By equipping professionals with the latest research, tools, and evidence-based practices, we aim to positively impact patient outcomes and advance the field as a whole.

MedSLP Resources

Our digital store is the hub for all of our MedSLP educational resources. We offer helpful forms, Adult Assessment templates, and TBI MedSLP Chats and Consults. Using these resources, SLPs can enhance their knowledge of TBI patient treatment protocols and better treat TBI patients.

Support

Tracie is available for onsite or online support for SLPs and healthcare professionals. Her presentations and webinars offer valuable tools and insights into the care of patients with traumatic brain injuries and can help practitioners gain necessary skills to provide the best and most compassionate care possible.

Survivor Resources

Finding resources to help you or a loved one walk through recovery and life after a brain injury can be difficult, but it is our mission to offer the support and information you need. Once concern after a brain injury is how a fall would impact recovery and the ability to be independent at home.

To help, we’ve rounded up a list of resources that can help reduce the risk of falls. Taking these precautions and using these tools can help TBI survivors remain in their home and maintain their independence.

This list of resources will help you find your state’s Brain Injury Association as well as national organizations that offer support and services for TBI survivors and their caregivers.
